I can handle that for the money and sanity I'm saving. All it does is equate to a bit more effort at tax time. But for most smaller eBay sellers like me, I keep things simple. For others, especially with employees, payroll, or other needs, QuickBooks may be beneficial. So for me it's back to what I did before I originally went to GoDaddy, while I look and wait for an online replacement or for news that someone has purchased the GoDaddy bookkeeping part and will be offering it. But not so much as to make me spend hundreds of dollars a year for confusing overkill with QuickBooks, when I will only need 10% of it anyway. Add a little common sense like I did to before I went over to GoDaddy in the first place, compile all the numbers with common sense and a calculator, and I'm good for my Schedule C. I sat back, thought about it, and realized that GoDaddy was a real convenience at tax time, but I could get pretty much all the information I needed from my eBay and Amazon reports that are available. Then I saw the nightmare many other eBay sellers went thru earlier this year when trying to get QuickBooks to actually work for them - some successfully, many others not. I've used GoDaddy for many years with my eBay and Amazon sales, and was just as surprised and upset when the rug was jerked out from under me. ![]() So, what are other people using to replace GoDaddy? I'm not an idiot, but do NOT need or want something like QuickBooks is anything but with you on all counts. Then they suggest (over sell) their accounting service for hundreds of dollars a month and they can "get you started and organized" for ONLY $500. Then eBay suggesting QuickBooks - What a mess! It is such overkill and so difficult to do ANYTHING with it. Am REALLY TICKED off about GoDaddy closing down their service in the middle of the year.
